Imagine, reducing labor costs while dramatically improving customer service.
The FLEX Internet Image Archive/Retrieval Software module allows
you to archive captured images while processing payments for later retrieval
over your local network or the Internet.
As documents pass through the transport, the images are captured and indexed according
to the data extracted from the OCR and/or MICR scan lines. System fields (date, batch number,
transaction and item sequence number) are also catalogued.
In the past, a customer calling about an account that was misposted would be unable to
resolve the problem by giving their account number. With the FLEX Internet Image Archive/Retrieval
System, the customer, by providing their check number and bank account number, enables customer
service personnel to retrieve the images of the stub and check in seconds. The information with
the images can be faxed, e-mailed or printed and the corrections made in one telephone call
with the customer. No more lost payments, no more mispostings or giving double credit, and
best of all no more wasted time.
The mechanics of how it works
The FLEX Internet Image Archive/Retrieval System stores the images and data captured in the
Flex Remittance System for later retrieval using a local Intranet. The user requires no
special software except a web browser (version 4 or higher) which may already
be in place on the client computers.
The server is connected to an existing network, and provides access
to the Intranet via TCP/IP. The number of
users allowed performing queries, starting at five users, implements the licensing. To
access the system, the administrator registers each user (with an ID and
password) with the server. After this has been
done, the user remains active until removed by the administrator. Being
registered allows the user to perform queries.
